Learn How to Create a Google Map of Your Home and Favorite Places

Hello guys! It’s been a long time since my last post. There have been many reasons why I haven’t been able to post.

First, we have to transfer to another hosting service. The last one sucks because our sites were always down, and not for just several hours — it was for several days! And then, the transfer of this site encountered a number of problems until we have to decide on using just the XML file and not the back-up file from cpanel. The result was a lot more work because every picture and plugin has to be restored manually. The XML file was able to restore only the posts. And we have to thank our lucky stars for that.

End of our sob story. Hopefully, we should be able to update regularly.

Alrighty, here’s the latest craze in HubPages. A Map Capsule! The first time I was able to use it, I was ecstatic. Sadly, I created only one hub using the Map Capsule so far. It’s a pity because there’s a month-long contest going on. And the last day is Sept 29. At least, I got one entry for ‘HubPages Mark The Spot Contest’ — “Most Authentic and Oldest Restaurants in Manila Philippines“.

Assuming you are a hubber now, and you’re creating your first hub. Let’s imagine you have added a Map Capsule. Click the tab ‘Edit’. Just type the address of the place that you want to see ‘marked’ on your map. Then click the tab ‘save’ to see what it looked like. You can edit as many times as you want so don’t worry making any mistakes at first. For better results, look for other hubbers’ works and learn from their maps.
