Hello, World! Welcome to Our Website
Dreams come true. Small miracles are always out there to help small dreamers realize their dreams, even the large ones. But everything has a price, of course. Nothing in this world is free… well, except from dreams. Dreams are free–so choose to dream of the biggest and the tallest dreams.
The last time I let myself ‘wallow’ in my self thoughts was two years ago. Something monumental happened to our family then. (I used the term ‘monumental’ because it had been a big turn-around for my young self then. It was a private matter so I won’t discuss it here. Besides, it will only bore the readers to tears. lol) Whatever it was, the end result was maturity for everyone in the family.
Ok, let me brag about the changes–the beautiful changes–in our home life. ha-ha. Where do I start? Hmm, I only have one year left to finish my course in college. Since I plan to take up review classes during weekends next year, I am hoping to be capable and prepared for the board exams after graduation. With a lot of luck, I could be Certified Public Accountant! Whew! This is my tallest ambition at this point of my life!
Oh, I also mentioned about meeting my prince charming. I just turned 20 so I’m not a teenager anymore–but I think I have met a prince charming. Though I’m still unsure if this prince would also be my everlasting love. lol
Next, the Sudoku puzzles… Without much regret, I abandoned that pastime long ago because I have to give more focus on my studies–and work. Yuh, I have been lucky enough to find a regular-paying job even while studying. And I firmly believe that I am blessed to have it because I don’t have to leave the safety and the comfort of our home. It’s an online job but the details cannot be divulged. Don’t be surprised to learn that the four members in our family of five are also involved with different types of online jobs. That’s why our tagline is: “Freelancers’ Hub — A Family-Owned Outsourcing Business”. I’d be happy to tell everyone about these online freelance jobs in my future blogs. You just have to believe that anyone can earn money through the Internet–legitimately, of course.
Next update, our sweet and small house… The little space that we call home is not rent-free anymore because we are now voluntarily paying monthly contributions for our maternal grandmother’s allowance. The electric and internet bills have both shoot skyward due to the addition of some major appliances into our humble abode. So it’s still the same old story with Mom struggling to make ends meet in the budget department. However, there are several items added to her top priority list (like emergency funds). Since we’re all freelancers, nothing is permanent and stable in life.
Dad is still a taxi driver but he does not drive everyday anymore. He appointed himself as the official washing machine operator during his days-off. He still cooks for us. Whenever our very thoughtful father is at home, foods are always served hot on our table. Mom also cooks but during special occasions only, like birthdays and holidays. My parents both love to cook so watch out for their recipes. lol
My brother, who is an avid online gamer, would be blogging about different online games. He is required (by Mom and I) to produce at least one blog about online gaming per week. Or else…
He will be on his third year next school year; but still got three more years to finish B.S. in Electronic and Communications Engineering.
My youngest sister will be graduating in high school two months from now. She plans to take up Computer Science in college. But after seeing the result to her Career Assessment Exams, Mom promptly suggested B.S. Accountancy as the first choice. Little Sister could study Computer Science through books while taking up Accountancy—but not vice versa. Mom, after a long and detailed explanation on the pros and cons of every possible situation, stressed that my sister’s final decision will be respected by the whole family. How diplomatic! lol
Our Internet activities have been more enhanced because we’ve learned a lot about the Internet now. Thanks to our past and present employers, we have acquired new skills through their various projects. It’s not grand yet. It is just small and somewhat limited but the services we give are guaranteed with quality and punctuality–and personalized. The online jobs we take in are mostly administrative-related tasks and some writing on the side; nothing grandiose but with a high level of professionalism. We always give pride to any work we do.
Whew! This braggy blog has gone long enough. Why didn’t anyone stop me? Well, I just hope my story can inspire somebody. My last words are: “The family that works together can fight poverty over and over.” Thank you for reading!
